I am still sitting in the same spot since last Friday due to my foot surgery. The Dr. doesn't tell you how miserable and painful it will be to recover from the surgery. Add in the 2 kiddos to take care of while you are trying to recover yourself and you have the makings of a wonderfully long and painful day. This the picture of the "boot" and it still doesn't give justice to the actual size it really is. Supposedly I am able to drive as early as today if I want to, although I don't think I am going to attempt even getting in the car at this point much less trying to move this big ole foot from the gas to the break pedal.
I think Devin has had the best experience since he has been watching cartoons on the couch all day today since everyone else went back to work for the week. Between junk food, toy commercials (of course he wants them all and if it is a girl toy then it is for him AND Mackenzie) he is living the high life in his eyes. I, on the other hand, am going crazy and just want to get out of the house.
I appreciate all the tips on blogging and keep them coming since I obviously have a lot to learn.

I am so sorry about your foot! That is noooo fun! I know you must be in pain and I can't imagine watching both kiddos too. Austin asks for every single thing on all the commercials too. I try to get him to watch Noggin since it has no commercials. He has been watching more TV than normal because I am so tired. Hope you feel better soon.
Oh, you poor dear! If you need me to take kiddos off your hands, please let me know. (Or, if you just need me to drop by and entertain them for a little while!)
